Pig Tongue with Amoy Gold Label Light Soy Sauce

Ingredients

2 Pig Tongue, Ginger 2 slice, 2 Shallot (Sliced), 1 Garlic (Sliced)

Seasoning

Amoy Gold Label Light Soy Sauce 2 tbsp, Amoy Gold Label Dark Soy Sauce 1/2 tbsp, Amoy Premium Soy Sauce 3 tbsp, Cooking Wine 1 tbsp, 1/3 yellow slab sugar, a dash of Amoy blended Sesame Oil

Method

Rinse the pig tongue and cook it until its skin goes white. Scrape off the residues on the pigs tongue.

Bring the water to a boil and add ginger slice. Cook the pig tongue for 30-40mins

Heat the pan with oil, sauté the shallot and garlic. Add the pig tongue and pour in cooking wine

Add the seasoning, switch to high heat and bring to a boil. Cook the pig tongue over medium heat.

Heat off and pour Amoy Blended Sesame Oil on top. Transfer pig tongue to plate, slice it when it is cool, pour the remaining sauce.
