Established in Xiamne, the capital of Fujian province in 1908. Amoy later moved to Hong Kong, setting up its first factory in the territory in 1928. In 1987, a news, state of the art production plant was opened in the Tai Po industrial estate to meet the growing global demand for Amoy's expanding product range. 1908 Tao Fa, Amoy's predecessor, was founded in Xiamen, Fujian Province, as a milk and soy sauce producer. 1928 Business was expanded to HK in 1928, and named as Amoy Food Limited. 1954 Amoy built the Amoy Industrial Estate at Ngau Tao Kwok in Hong Kong with welfare facilities such as child care center and workers hostels. 1957 Amoy held the agency and established factories to produce total 7 brands of soft drinks such as" Green Spot","Pepsi Cola"," Miranda","Tim" etc. In 1961, Amoy diversified its business to paper product manufacturing. 1991 Hong Kong Amoy became a wholly-owned subsidiary of French - based food multinational Danone Groupe. 1993 Amoy entered Hong Kong frozen dimsum market. 1994 Group Danone, which was among the world's Top 500 companies,and Shanghai LiangYou Group came together to create a joint venture company-Shanghai Amoy Food Limited. 2004 Amoy soy sauce and sesame oil achieved 11 and 9 years No.1 in sales value respectively, while Amoy frozen dimsum achieved 6 years No. 1 in sales value in Hong Kong. 2005 Amoy Soy Sauce total sales ranks No.1 position for the consecutive 7 years in 9 cities in China. 2006 Amoy was acquired by Ajinomoto Co., Inc in January         100% Hong Kong Style - Amoy Ding Ding Noodle     Amoy has recently launched a real authentic taste Ding Ding Noodle followed the success of Ding Ding Congee.
